48 Hour Film Project
As the producer of the London and Bristol 48 Hour Film Project: the ultimate global filmmaking challenge in which teams have just 48 hours to write, shoot, edit, and deliver a short film, incorporating a specific genre, character, prop, and line of dialogue, I witness firsthand how this unique competition brings together filmmakers to showcase creativity, collaboration, and skill under an intense deadline.
Its fast-paced format pushes filmmakers to work under pressure and adapt quickly to deliver a polished short film.
The film challenge features three key stages that run throughout the year. Banners and several animated films provide focus for this and the creativity required for the participants in the event - an adrenalin driven weekend when films are written, shot and edited.
Brand communications highlight the high level of thinking and creativity involved.
︎The 48HFP Trilogy
The 48HFP challenge is a trilogy of events that begins with the global city challenge, followed by Filmapalooza—the 48HFP international three-day film festival—and culminates in Court Métrage, screened in conjunction with the Cannes Film Festival.
